OUR STORY

IT STARTED WITH A DIAGNOSIS.

Then a post. P.S. Check your boobs. P.P.S. Fuck cancer.

It was written in the thick of it. Scared, angry, in disbelief, and somehow grateful at the same time. It wasn't meant to be a slogan. It was just what needed saying that day.

Then the messages started. From people who'd been through it, people who were in the middle of it, and people who'd never said any of this out loud before. Those conversations are where P.P.S. comes from. Pink ribbons and nice words didn't cover it. We wanted something with a bit more bite.

Cancer changes things. It leaves marks. It takes up space.

BUT IT DOESN'T GET TO TAKE EVERYTHING.

P.P.S. is for the anger and the hope. The grief and the laughing at the wrong moment. The scars, the strength, the softness, and everything in between. Nobody is ever just one thing, and more than one thing can be true at once.

We're not here to make cancer look pretty. We're here to say the quiet bits out loud, stand next to each other, and remind each other that we're more than what happened to us.

It started with a diagnosis. It was never going to end there.
